12月11日,上周五,我们研究组举行了一次捷克一日游,不过不是去布拉格,而是去温泉小镇卡罗维发利(捷克语:Karlovy
Vary;德语:Karlsbad;参见http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karlovy_Vary).
这个小镇比拜罗伊特还小。在这里,令我吃惊的有两个情景:一个是路边的水龙头汩汩地流出热气腾腾的泉水,人们拿着水杯接了直接喝!另一个是城里一条二三十米宽的河流,德语名字叫做Eger,竟然是我们一个观测点附近那条浅浅的小溪Eger!

1st email:
The timetable and the costs are following:
1) 08:18 Bayreuth – Karlsbad Bahnhof 11:04 (15 Euro pro person
ErgoNet
Ticket with DBahn, day ticket).
If you will buy two ErgoNet Tickets four kids can join you for
free. It
means if somebody would take her/his kids they will drive for
free.
2) 11:00 -13:00 – Guided tour trough the downtown (60 Euro pro
group, will
be paid by the department)
3) 13:30 by rack-railway up to the look-out tower Diana (3 Euro
pro
person, two way ticket)

4) 14:00 dinner at the restaurant Diana (has to be paid by
yourself,
usually the prices in Czech Republic are little bit lower then in
Germany)

6) 16:30 free time (if desired)
7) 16:49 Karlovy Vary – 19:36 Bayreuth
2nd email:
Total price was 168 euro (group ticket for 15 persons to
Marktredwitz + 3
Bayern-B?hmen-Tickets each for 5 persons), 11 euro per person. This
combination was even
cheaper as Ergo-Net tickets for 15 persons.
Our first train RB 32019 goes from Bayreuth at 08:18 to
Kirchenlaibach
(then to Marktredwitz, Cheb, Carlsbad).
